Inside Garnethill Synagogue. Glasgow, Scotland

This morning, I collected tour group from Glasgow Airport. After briefly checking in at hotel we had lunch in Glasgow’s southside and then progressed as follows:

• To Glasgow’s famous Necropolis ( City of the Dead) to view the Jewish sector.
• A brief visit to Glasgow’s magnificent 13th century Cathedral.
• A brief visit to Provand’s Lordship, Glasgow’s oldest house.
• A lengthy tour of Garnethill Synagogue and Scottish Jewish Archives Centre assisted by an expert local guide.
• A brief visit to view Glasgow School of Art, a world famous building designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh and completed 1909.

Our tour was aided by dry weather. Tomorrow the group play golf.

Yes I do the same thing in Zanzibar Island; you know Zanzibar is Muslim predominant island with very tremendous history about Christianity, slaves, ivory merchants, spices, sultans, Arab princes and so many golden ancient stories…we also have very beautifully cathedrals which I use to show most Christian tourist who visit Zanzibar, I am sure we can do more to promote this kind of tourists.
